Exaggerated sense of entitlement?

Inevitably you are going to see a larger proportion of children with such a sense of entitlement on a yahoo website as children with these views are likely to be more prominent. This is the type of thing elders said when I was young as well - expectations change and increase from generation to generation . I believe this to be a good thing as it is a sign that the world is improving adn I don't think children generally are any more demanding than my own generation. ( I'm in my 50's). Certainly I find the children I have contact with are well aware that they need to work hard at school and parents cannot always provide anything. They do seem particularly aware of the recession as well.
