One of the most common failure of BC pills is the failure to follow the instructions diligently. There is a greater chance of getting pregnant when one misses a pill during that cycle. Wait for your period and if you miss it, do a pregnancy test. If negative, repeat it after another week to make sure. If you are having difficulty following instructions or forgetful in taking pills regularly, maybe you should consider a different contraceptive method.
