Can I house my electric yellow cichlids with dwarf aquatic african frogs?

I thinking about adding aquatic frogs to my aquarium but im not sure whether the two are compatible together as electric yellow Cichlids one of the least aggressive Cichlids. If so how much care will the will the frogs need (can the survive purely on scavenging the yellows food,how far will I have to go to stop them escaping ,is there any extra requirements)? Also I would like to know whether these frogs can be handled?
