I got a chevy equinox 2008 for christmas..it's my first car ever...is this ok?

Congratulations on the new car. Yes the Equinox is a good first vehicle in fact my service managers daughter got one for a first car and the used car manager here has one for his wife. We have few problems and they have crashed well here. I have seen a few bad accidents where the equinox has been totaled but the driver and pengers were fine. Its a safe and reliable SUV. I thank your dad for buying American.
