Right now, I'll agree that it's not looking so good for the Bears, while the Lions have been making some good moves, but lets wait and see how the rest of free agency plays out first before we jump to any conclusions. And besides, you really can't predict too much accurately before the season starts, and very rarely do things go just as they are predicted to go. I remember the Bears were looking like a mess heading into last season while the Vikings looked ready to compete again and the Lions looked like they were on the upswing. The Bears ended up winning the NFC North that year after an 0-4 preseason, while the Vikings completely collapsed and the Lions took a step in the right direction, but still finished with a bad record. From all this, you should have learned that the NFL is plainly unpredictable.
